A unique electrolyte formulation to help keep horses hydrated and minimize the stressors normally associated when trailering, competing, training, etc. Provides immediate and long-lasting hydration.

Excellent to use in the following conditions for horses and foals:

•  Prior to and during trailering or transport.
• Stressors such as diet change, shipping, weather, etc.
• Scours or loose stools or G.I. disturbances.
• Endurance riding, training or sustained performance.
• to provide hydration and energy to the horse or foal.

 Mode of action:

• Powder turns into a long-lasting gel at a targeted pH providing time-released water retention benefits to 
  the horse. Will keep the horse/foal hydrated much longer than other oral electrolytes.
• Contains both soluble and insoluble water-trapping fibers, which will slow the gut ow allowing for better water and nutrient absorption.
• Matches the electrolyte composition of blood plasma found in healthy horses, which is critical for efficient recovery from fluid loss.
• Delivers five different energy sources providing steady energy release to the horse over a 12-hour period.
• Provides the correct tonicity to facilitate rapid absorption of water and electrolytes into the blood stream.

Administration: 

A 5-gram scoop is enclosed in the container for accurate dosing. Measure out the prescribed daily dose and administer over the pet’s food. Product may be mixed with food to facilitate complete consumption. Recommended Use:

The following dosage schedule is recommended for the daily administration of Pala-Tech Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules. Consult with your veterinarian to determine the proper dosage amount and schedule for each individual animal prescribed this product. 

Cats: Administer 1 scoop (5 grams) per day. 

Dogs: Administer 1 scoop (5 grams) per day for every 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) of body weight. Do not exceed 30 grams (6 scoops) per day.
